Trusting Your Inner Energy

As we continue exploring July's theme of Deep Spiritual Expansion, it's easy to think that spiritual growth always comes from discovering something new.


Yet so often, it begins by remembering what has quietly lived within us all along.


Your energy is always communicating with you.


Sometimes it speaks through a feeling of peace that settles unexpectedly into your heart.


Sometimes it gently nudges you toward rest, inspires a new idea, or reminds you to slow your pace.


Just as nature moves through seasons without rushing, your own energy carries an innate wisdom that unfolds in its own perfect rhythm.


Reiki offers us a gentle space to notice these quiet conversations.


Rather than trying to change or control our energy, we simply create room for it to be heard.


As you practice trusting your inner energy, you may begin to notice a deeper sense of calm, clarity, and confidence arising naturally, one gentle moment at a time.


A Gentle Reiki Journey of Trust

Place one hand softly over your heart and the other just below your navel.


Take another slow breath.


As you breathe, imagine a warm golden light glowing softly beneath your hands.


With every inhale, the light becomes a little brighter.

With every exhale, it spreads a little farther throughout your body.


See this light flowing through your chest, your shoulders, your belly, your arms, and down into your legs, like warm sunlight filling a peaceful garden.


If you notice places that feel tense, tired, or uncertain, simply allow the light to rest there without trying to fix anything.


Quietly repeat to yourself:


My energy knows the way. I can trust what unfolds one gentle breath at a time.

Rest here for a few more slow breaths, allowing yourself to simply receive.

Gentle Hand Positions for Trust

For this month's practice, these hand positions beautifully support feelings of inner trust and energetic awareness:


  • One hand over the heart.

  • One hand just below the navel (the lower energy center).


These positions encourage both emotional reassurance and a deep sense of inner steadiness.


Stay here for as long as it feels comfortable, breathing naturally.

Where in my life is my energy inviting me to trust a little more deeply?
